Our 10th Annual Burpees for Turkeys event was a wonderful success, thanks to the dedication of our community! This year, our incredible community came together once again to support hunger relief in Maine, and we couldn't be more proud of what we've accomplished. Raising Over $16,000 for United Way Thanks to the combined efforts of our communities in Bangor and Brunswick, we raised $16,425 to help fight food insecurity in Maine. This means that, together, we have provided over 32,850 meals to families in need. Since we started this event in 2015, we have now raised over $109,000 to support local families. The impact this community has made over the past decade is truly something to celebrate! Thank You to Our Amazing Supporters We want to give a huge shout-out to everyone who participated: our dedicated trainers who pushed through hundreds of burpees, our supporters who cheered, heckled, and encouraged, and every single person who donated. Your generosity and enthusiasm make events like this possible, and the difference you're making for families in Maine is incredible. Special thanks to United Way for their ongoing efforts to support children and families across the state. With 1 in 5 children in Maine facing food insecurity, the funds raised through Burpees for Turkeys will help provide essential meals and hope to those who need it most.
