How has your overall experience been in the KickStart Program?
"The KickStart Program has been a real eye-opener for me. Even though I had a lot of doubts about my ability to stick to the meal plan and follow through on attending the scheduled workouts, I have been building momentum with each passing day. It has been a life-changing experience.
The success of the KickStart program is a testament to the trainers and staff at Wilcox Wellness and Fitness. All are fully invested in helping each client get the most out of his or her experience and are constantly checking in to make sure everyone has all the tools they need to succeed in the program. The trainers are friendly and knowledgeable, but know how to encourage clients to push themselves to become healthier and more fit."
What impact has the KickStart Program had on your life?
"Within two or three days of starting the program, I was already feeling better. My body was free of the sugars and starches that had been sapping my strength and my motivation. I have not only felt a lot better physically, I have noticed a happier and more positive demeanor that had been missing for a long time."
What results have you achieved since starting the program? (ex: increased energy, inches lost, confidence gained, more healthy habits, etc.)
"I have seen improvements in a variety of areas since starting the program. I feel stronger, more energetic and overall better about myself. I have abandoned bad eating habits and haven't missed any of the junk food I ate so frequently before. I'm not sure about inches or weight lost, as I have avoided using those measurements to determine my success in the program. However, I have noticed that clothes are fitting more loosely and that I am almost up to a second tighter notch on my belt."
How was the meal plan?
"From the outset, I have been most impressed with the impact of the meal plan. It is difficult to get into the habit of doing all the shopping and having to plan so specifically for meals throughout the day, but the way you feel after getting into the plan is well worth the inconvenience. Following the plan has empowered me to realize that I can make healthy decisions about food without sacrificing the enjoyment of eating delicious meals. "
How were your training sessions?
"To be honest, the training sessions have been difficult. I have been overweight and out of shape for so long, that I still have many months of work to do before I'm going to be anywhere near peak strength and flexibility. The sessions are great because they enable everyone to work out at their own pace. You can push yourself as hard as you want, or take it easy when necessary, without sacrificing results. I find that when I go a couple of days without a session, I am itching to get back to work."
What would you say to someone who is on the fence about joining the KickStart Program?
"If you are on the fence about joining the program - I would say jump over that fence and get started on being the healthier, happier person that you want to be. This is a no-brainer for anyone who just wants to feel and look better, regardless if you're five pounds overweight or 55. There is no way anyone who follows the meal plan and gives an honest effort in the training sessions is not going to see noticeable results -- and it happens within a very short time. Just do it. You'll be glad you did!"
