If you think you don’t have the time or energy for your health and fitness… let me tell you a story!

The problem is, we often make health and fitness more complicated than it needs to be.
The fact is, all our clients need to do is SHOW UP for 3 - 45 minute training sessions per week to get set up for success with fitness.

BUT - if those sessions aren’t scheduled in advance, often times they simply won’t happen.
When I started scheduling my training session directly into my calendar, they became non-negotiable. It doesn’t matter how busy I am - if my training sessions are on my calendar - I make them happen.
By allocating specific hours to my health and fitness routines, I no longer let other competing priorities overrun my day.

It turns out, a simple to-do list is a POWERFUL science-backed tool to help to get things done… and also reduce stress.

Check out these findings:
  • Students in one study who wrote down to-do lists procrastinated less than those who used random or mental to-do lists
  • Creating a written to-do list frees up brain space because you don’t have to keep reminding yourself about tasks
  • The act of writing your to-dos down can lower anxiety if you’re feeling overwhelmed by everything you have to do

How to make your list work for you:
  • Limit your list to 5-7 items
  • Be specific and break big tasks into small, actionable steps.
  • Group similar tasks together for efficiency.
  • Set a deadline.

  • It helps regulate your circadian clock — which controls your body’s sleep-wake cycle.
  • People who get a few minutes of sun in the morning tend to burn more body fat and have a leaner physique than those who get their sunshine later in the day.
  • Morning sunlight helps your body release cortisol early in the day — which boosts your metabolism, ability to focus, and immune system.
TIP: Neuroscientist Andrew Huberman recommends getting outside for 5-10 minutes on sunny mornings or 15-20 minutes on cloudy mornings.

INCORRECT! But it’s a common MYTH!

And it also happens to be one of the biggest mistakes I see people make, for a whole list of reasons.

Working with a coach can be a HUGE springboard to results when you’re first starting out… coming back from a layoff… or struggling to stay on track.

Don’t get me wrong: it’s human nature to feel a little intimidated about working with a coach and want to feel “ready” for whatever comes your way.

BUT… an experienced coach can help you set realistic goals you’re excited about — while also helping you rack up quick “wins” and results to fire up your motivation.

PLUS, they’ll help you create a personalized plan; provide accountability, inspiration, and support; AND help keep you focused on the BEST actions while avoiding time-wasting distractions.

When you’re going it alone, it’s hard to get traction because of all the guesswork involved — which is the OPPOSITE of motivating.

And those are just a few of the reasons it’s worth investing in a coach — even if you don’t “feel” ready, yet!

It could be something as simple as drinking a big glass or two of water… setting an intention for your day for how you want to feel at bedtime… a quick workout… or a healthy protein-rich breakfast.

Then DO that more often!
