"What do you do when you don't feel like working out?" - this was a question asked at a recent conference (RISE - online) that I attended. Rachel Hollis' answer was perfect: "I work out."
So simple and so profound.
We are not always going to feel like doing the thing that we know is going to get us to where we want to go but the more times that we can show up and be consistent and keep the promise to ourselves, the more momentum we are going to build in all other areas of our life.
It is so easy to make so many excuses - my house is a disaster, my floors are dirty, the kids are going to climb all over me... Trust me... I have been there. But these excuses are all so small and they only hold us back from living the life that we dream of.
So friends... just show up. Show up when you are feeling it and show up when you are not feeling it. Just show up. Do your best. Then do it a again. It gets easier.
